The boat arrives in Bordeaux around 10. We decide to take the rest of the morning off. I stay in the lounge and try to work on the blog but I end up socializing. It's lunch time already.

What was going to be dessert turns into dessert and pate/cheese course.
We head out for a Bordeaux tour. 
Bordeaux used to be all black like this. About 25 years ago it was decided to transform the city including cleaning the sandstone. They also made the city more pedestrian friendly including an electric tram system with no overhead wires

While the Europen churches are impressive they still don't resonate with me like the Asian temples. Maybe some of it is the age of the stuff in Asia. Maybe Greece will blow me away.

Pulpit was an impressive wood piece.
Modern bridge going up. You can see the tug coming through. This tug turns a large cruise ship around in the river and pulls it out. That wraps up our overview of Bordeaux.
We have dinner at l'amour tonight. It's a special restaurant on the boat. It's really just another seating area that serves a different multi course meal.
