The two dress shirts on the left, the dark shorts, black sandals and flip flops were purchased along the way. I started with including what I wore - one pair of jeans, two pairs of khakis, one convertible pants, one pair shorts, swim suit, tennis shoes, loafers, three long sleeve shirts, two polos, my Michigan Hawaiian shirt, three t-shirts, two pair of silver woven socks, four pair of underwear, my Michigan hat and my toiletry kit. The hat while a good idea should have been a lighter color. It was too hot to wear a lot of times. Also the brim gets in the way of the DSLR.
The other stuff - packing aids (not all shown) but I tried to color code dirty/clean, the packing boards (great for the backpack), various ziplock bags (came in handy), a towel, shout stain remover, toilet seat covers (I don't think these were used), head lamp, sunglasses, binder clip, European power converter (not used - more on that later), neck pillow, packable satchel (thank you cuz!), AAA bags (used to store documents etc), eye shades, noise cancelling headphones, portable USB power, Satechi travel adapter (more on that later), manicure set (purchased for scissors), lock (didn't use), bandana, wipes, clothes line (very useful), neck cooler (not so much useful), dry travel soaps, notebook, sleep sack (used a lot), dry bags (unused), iPad charger and cables. Not shown are my Brita water bottle, UV steriPEN (stuck in metal water bottle and only used a few times) and a metal water bottle (hardly used and mainly protection for the steriPEN).
Now back to the Satechi travel adapter. Not only did it convert plugs and provide two 2.1 amp USB ports it is also a travel router. For the most part, I was able to sign into an Internet connection (wired or wireless) and forward it. I set the SSID to match our house then our devices connected automatically. Only a few times did I plug something else into it which made the Euro adapter moot.
