Day Eight

We drove more of highway 1 and stopped in Sunnyvale to chat more with my cousin. It was a lazy day as congestion started to build. We took some drugs and met friends who we new from our Ann Arbor days. It was great catching up and seeing their two kids.

After dinner, we checked into the hotel on the north side of town.  The famous section of Lombard street is only three blocks away it should be an easy walk.  After walking straight up hill for three blocks we came upon

We caught our breathe and decided no more hills. We walked down the hill towards the Fisherman Wharf and back by the Ghirardelli Square to get a lay of the land.
We called it an early night to rest up.
